While supplies last, we are offering 1/8 and 1/4 100% grass-fed beef pooling.

Pooling means you get a portion (1/8 or 1/4) of a cow. The cut order contains but is not limited to a variety of steaks (that may include: porterhouse, t-bones, sirloin, ribeyes, cube), roasts (that may include: arm, chuck, shoulder, rump), stew meat and ground beef among other cuts. Pooling is sold per pound of hanging weight. Please note: Cow pooling is sold based on hanging weight of the animal. This is different than package weight – on average package weight will be approx. 30% less than hanging weight. The percentage can vary based on the size of the animal and the cut order. Package weight is less than hanging weight because when making the cuts to package the processor will remove gristle, fat and many of the bones.

The cost is $5.99/lb on the hanging weight.

Roughly $260 for an 1/8 and $520 for a 1/4.

A typical quarter includes:

• 5 slow-cooking roasts
• 2-3 packs cube steak (4-6 per pack)
• 2 packs t-bones (2 per pack)
• 3 sirloins (1 per pack)
• 2 packs ribeyes (2 per pack)
• 1 pack porterhouse (this is the filet and ny strip combined – there are 2 per pack).
• 2-3 packages stew meat
• 20 lbs. hamburger
• 1-2 packages liver
• 1-2 packages soup bones
