NOW taking deposits for our Fall Harvest!

Hey there, friends! We are writing to announce our fall harvest this year! We are offering bulk ground beef and the typical halves and quarters.

We are NOW TAKING DEPOSITS on a first come, first served basis for bulk purchases of beef that will be available to pickup mid October. There are limited amounts available, so act quickly!  There are two options: 1 – order a half or quarter or 2 – Order a bulk quantity of ground beef (packaged in ~1 lb packages).

The cost for our 100% grass-fed beef by the half or quarter is $5.25 per pound on the hanging, or dress, weight. The customer is also responsible for the butcher fees which are: $15 per quarter + $0.70 per pound (also on the hanging weight). Each cow will dress out differently, but a rough approximation would be 90-125 pounds of hanging weight per quarter.

• Deposit to Murdock Farms for a quarter = $100
• Deposit to Murdock Farms for a half = $200
• Deposit to Murdock Farms for a whole = $400

The breakdown of bulk ground beef prices is as follows:

• 1-5 lbs.       =  $7.99/lb
• 6-12 lbs.     =  $7.49/lb
• 13-20 lbs.   =  $6.99/lb
• 21-50 lbs.   =  $6.49/lb
• 51-100 lbs. =  $5.99/lb
• 101 lbs.+    =  $5.49/lb

If you would like to purchase a quarter/half or bulk quantity of hamburger, please send us a deposit for $100 (for a quarter) or $200 (for a half), or half of the amount of ground beef you intend to purchace BY FRIDAY, September 22, 2017.  Please make sure your check has your phone number and/or email address written on it. We’ll let you know when we receive it and confirm your bulk purchase.  This is first come, first served, so don’t wait!!!
